I'm in the process of trying to get my property back, which began back in May 2012 when the tenant refused to pay her half of the rent.

It's not your property, it is Tenant's property, even if they don't pay the rent, whilst there is a valid tenancy (there still is) - and it will be valid until the bailiffs carry tenant out..

It took me ten weeks to get court bailiffs. When the date came through they advised that I bring a locksmith with me on the day as well as pre-warn the local police about what would be happening. This was so that if anything happened, there was less chance of it meaning the bailiffs couldn't do there job and delaying the eviction for another day.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0
