Getting out of Car Finance after 6Months

There does appear something wrong with the engine e management system. You say the engine is too small for the car but I run a 1.3 diesel Astra, it is a but under powered but fuel consumption is well into the fifties, you should be getting low forties as a minimum.0

If you are confident you can sell it for more privately, take out a loan pay off the finance, sell the car.0

Not judging but why did you pay full price for a car that doesn't even suit you?
I do 450 miles a week in my Laguna 2.0 dCI and have averaged 49.6mpg over the 29k miles I have owned it and I don't exactly hang around.
Agree that the Corsa is heavy, and the 1.2 a bit underpowered but I would get it diagnostic checked at a Vx dealer.
If you're set on swapping it and want another Corsa, avoid the 1.3CDTI 75ps as it's carp and get a 1.7CDTI Ecoflex. If you see under 55mpg from that, you either do a lot of town driving or your right foot is made of lead....EX-DFW, NOW AN MFW!! O/S Mortgage = £71004 on 12/01/13 Overpaid 2013 = £1000

New one for 11K but dealer offered 9.3k? Lots of options maybe?
New engines are tight, They wont start getting their best fuel economy until you have done 20k miles or so.
To be getting 32MPG. Your either doing very very short stop start journeys or not driving it economically. or working it out wrong.
Old school methods dont seem to apply to modern cars with silly high gear ratio's.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
