If the one partner works but on a low income can he claim anything for partner if they cant find a job?

How many hours does the partner work?0
-
one partner works over 30hours a week
both are over 25:footie:0 -
They will possibly get more working tax credits as they are part of a couple
eg a single person on £10k would get £1,245 per annum but as part of a couple they would get £3,2000 -
are savings taken into account?:footie:0
