Best place to sell games/DVDs?

Hi,
I'm hoping to have a big clearout of my old games, DVDs, blu rays etc but not sure where the best place is... from a quick look around I'd say:
Music Magpie - offers a very quick and easy service but consistently offers a very low amount for each item
Cex - great if you want to trade, but the cash values aren't great
Amazon/Play/Ebay - seems to be the best option in terms of the amount you get, though not sure if the hassle, plus fees/petrol/postage costs etc make it worthwhile
Which do you guys use? Ideally I want to get as much as possible, but if it involves a lot more hassle for a small amount of extra money (that a trip to the post office could easily negate) I may need to re-think and go with one of the easier options (ie Cex)
Thanks

I won't use Ebay so I've got my first box for musicmagpie being collected on Friday - about £80. The individual amounts were fairly low overall but I had a number of DVDs quoted as £3 which has bumped up the tally. If that goes well, I'll do some more once they've paid me."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

Car boot sales are a good option too. Also, see if your friends want to buy any.0

Thanks all, think I'll get a small sample of say 4 things I want to sell and compare the prices on the various sites (allowing for fees etc too!)
Anything that's worth less than a few quid I usually give to the charity shop which makes selling things on Ebay etc a bit more viable (ie more hassle but a better return)0 -
CEX isn't actually that bad, I traded in a few boxes of DVDs (mixed boxsets and singles, probably 20-30 in total) and came out with £81 cash or £102 trade, hardly unreasonable in my eyes.
I've listed a few larger/pricer items on Gumtree, i'll try and avoid eBay where ever possible but at some point i'll be listing stuff on there too.0 -
Ebay is not a bad option for getting rid of games. I see a lot of older stuff on there that is hard to sell in other places.
Games a light so you don't have to pay a high shipping charge.0 -
Game will price match and beat by a pound so whatever Cex will give you, you can get a £1 more at Game. I print off the relevant pages to help them out but they will sometimes verify themselves on their computer.:heart2:I have a child with autism.:heart2:0

Many thanks, will call my local Game - that's a great offer if they do it0

You might want to double check because I think they went into administration http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-175121430

Guess you've not actually lived in the world for the last 6 months, they've come out of the other side of that and are doing OK. Gamestation took the brunt of the closures.0 -
Also worthwhile trying any local cash converter type shops.
I sold some DVDs to friends for £2 each, others to one cash converter type shop for 75p each, others to a cash converter for 50p each. Def worthwhile running barcodes through music magpie as they'll often match a higher price if you say music magpie offered £6 for this one (or similar). It is much less hassle too and you get your money quicker!Total money owed: [STRIKE]31/07/11- £17,877[/STRIKE], LBM - 14/10/12 :j, 01/06/13 - £0 DEBT FREE!!!!
