Joinging Dog Activity Club

Hi folks, this sat i am taking my 4 year old lab to his first activity club (took him to puppy/socilisation classes when he was little)

anyway they do agility, fly ball, gun dog and terrier racing.
looks brilliant fun - bit nervous that he behaves haah - he has the ability to do all the stuff whether he wants to or not is a different story.

anyone else got their dogs at similar classes? would love to hear your stories or any tips you may have.

Terrier racing sounds fab. Wish they did that one near me!

I took pooch to agility for two seasons but he really didn't like the jumping, lazy boy. Liked the tunnel and the see saw.

We just go to obedience training now. In his case it's often more of a 'disobedience training'

i do agility and flyball with my dog.


best thing to remember is to bring treats, their favourite toy, and most importantly, a sense of humour.


and, once you start competing, you will realise that there are plenty of dogs and owners worse than you!!!!
