Need an Accountant

Options
Hi All

Had a small biz that went under in 2011. I need to get the accounts done for 2010-11 and need from the accountants accounts showing annual net profit for year ending 31/3/2011, and a tax return showing my tax liability for the tax year 2010/2011.

Any advice where to source this or best people to go to as want to obviously pay as little as possible, there is not a huge amount of entries as I ran a service company and not many payments in or out really.

I am in West London but don't mind doing online if saves money.

Thanks and Best Wishes for 2013 to all!

Unless you know anyone locally to you that can reccomend someone, your probably best phoning a few smaller accountancy firms in the yellow pages, explain what you need and ask them for an idea of cost.

    Thanks for the advice.

I am willing to do it online, they do not have to be chartered or registered but that is preferable, as all I really need do is forward my bank statements for the year and as I said before there are not many transactions.

Has anyone used a reasonably priced online accounts service that they would be willing to recomend, by PM if you would prefer not to on forum.
  • You could take a look at InTouch accounting. I don't use them directly but my sister in law does. Been looking into someone who can provide support online and they do. Can't recommend them myself just yet, but it may be worth checking out for you.
  • What are you looking for? cheapest possible option?

we are accountants and work in your area so PM me if you'd like some info but we are mid range fee wise, there's reasons we don't compete on price as it means the level of service we want to give would suffer.

I always tell people everyone wants: cheap, quick, good quality. You can only ever get two of those things from any supplier, so pick which two are most important to you. We're the quick and good quality option. (that doesn't mean expensive either, but not interested in competing with one man bands working out of bedrooms/ unqualified/unregulated firms etc)
Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j

OU student: A103 , A215 , A316 all done. Currently A230 all leading to an English Literature degree.

Any advice given is as an individual, not as a representative of my firm.

had a look, looked interesting but they specialise in accounts for contractors, not businesses in general, pity
