Does anyone know anything about cars?. My friend is going to see a 10 year old ford Ka, its done 40,000 miles and will have a recent service and MOT.The seller wants £1,100 for it. Do you think this is a fair price? I dont know anything about cars as I've always had just bikes. Thanks

Rust,rust and rust. Some get it bad,some dont,mate had one,was still going at 180k+.Price wise 800 ish seems more realistic.Went shoplifting at the Disneystore today.

Can you see the MOT document? If you can, take the test certificate number down, try to check its previous MOTs online and see if it actually done 40k or 140k miles. (We had a 11 year old KA and was told only done 53k then when I checked online against its previous MOTs, it had gone over once. Obviously this way you know more about that car's history etc.)0

Less that 4000 miles a year? Really? How often does it get servced? Do they still do it yearly?
Do you know the owners or know what their journey's are like? Does it match?
