Mystery Hotels on Superbreak or similar

Hi
Has anyone ever booked the mystery hotels on Superbreak or similar sites?
I am looking for a night away in Edinburgh and a 5* mystery hotel has come up, I have looked into the details and although they don't give the name of the hotel, the description pretty much matches another of their hotels - Hotel Missoni. I have looked into the other mystery hotels on offer and it appears that they all have a matching hotel if you look at the descriptions. The great thing about Hotel Missoni (if it is this one) is that it saves £55 if booked as the mystery hotel rather than knowing the hotel name upfront.
I just wanted to know if anyone has done this before, even if it is somewhere else. Did you also work out where the hotel was beforehand? Did you feel that you were treated the same as any other guest? Would you say your room was of the same standard as what anyone else would have got? Has the hotel ever differed from what you had expected it to be - such as, did they maybe have to re-allocate you after booking?
I would appreciate any feedback on this, whether it's Edinburgh or not.
I am sort of thinking that if I go for a 5* hotel then it can't go far wrong with the rooms, surely they have to be of a certain standard anyway.
Thanks in advance

I have booked an Airport hotel as a mystery hotel through Superbreaks, the cost was probaly about a third of what it should have been as it included 14 days airport parking etc and a shuttle to the airport. Didn't get treated any worse than I would expect to, nothing was mentioned at all as I had already paid online by the time we arrived. The deal was perfect for what we needed, to the extent that we probably would have booked it at full price. Luckily we read a thread on MSE which mentioned the deal.
Description was pretty obvious as it was exactly the same as from their own website. This one was also a Holiday Inn.:j Growing Older is Mandatory, Growing Up is Optional :j0 -
Thanks for your replies :-)
That helps me a lot, just feel happier knowing someone else has used the mystery hotel and it all worked out ok. I'll have to look into the airport hotel & parking in the future. Never used Superbreak before, but got vouchers for xmas so treating myself, hence why I was looking at the 5* - would not normally even afford to consider it!

Missoni is awesome, I stayed there a year ago.
I work in hotels, and we sell via this channel too, we don't treat people differently if they book a mystery package, still got a reputation to keep.0
