Mainland Spain south of Denia round to Seville will still be warm / very warm.
We have 18 degrees here for last 10 days and not seen a cloud, the weather is very odd over last few years.
I am in Costa calida Murcia region look under mar menor, lovely big shallow bay with great beaches.

We often visit Puerto Del Carmen on Lanzarote in Sept/Oct.

Fly via a budget airline and you should get a SC apartment for £200-£300 for the week. It's a very cheap resort when there as well with plenty bargains on food/drink.

Tenerife is great at that time too! I've taken my two 6 & 4 last October and its was the most relaxing, enjoyable holiday I've ever had.

Booked an apartment via one of the holiday rental sites for £250, then cheap flights. Ate in the apartment during the day and out for meals in the evening. Spending money used for the week was £300.

Not sure where you live but we went from Bournemouth. Flights were £300-400 cheaper than Gatwick!

Total cost of the holiday less than £1k :D

    Aqua Blu Sharm

Sharm el Sheikh. Still nice weather in the winter (just got back was 27+) Aqua Blu is a huge water park with lots to do, all inclusive, private beach close by.

I'd recommend Tunisia, 3hr flight, - transfers depending on resort 1hr - good exchange rate - if you go via thomson they have family resort in Hammamet with pools etc,

We went to Benidorm in October a few years ago and it was prefect weather.

And yes I know a lot of people turn their nose up at Benidorm but it was one of the nicest, child friendly places we've ever visited, possibly because it was slightly out of season so not so many boozy tourists.

No problem with Spain in late September. Mid 20s during the day. Algarve is also worth looking at.

We went to Malta as a honeymoon in mid-late October. Was lovely and warm to hot, not uncomfortable like in high summer but easy vest and shorts weather
