Central heating pipe insulation

  • Hey All
This is probably the most relevant post i have found to answer my question.
i imported central heating to New Zealand and have all my copper piping under my house
This piping is exposed, under the house is a large unused cavity space.
the total length of piping is about 200ft.
Question i have is, would i find benefit in insulating this piping, especially through the idea of retaining heat for the radiators and not loosing the heat through the copper piping.
    Thanks

As you say the cavity is unused, then I would suggest insulating all exposed pipes, especially if there are any vents from outside into the cavity.
