credit card cashback simple question?

quick and simple.. when is the cashback awarded?
is it straight away after purchase? or does the card have to be credited for some time (if yes how long?)
let's say I have 500 pound limit on my card and can get 3% cashback does that mean my limit is 15 pound a month? or can I maximise it by paying it off let say every week or so?
are there any cons of doing it that way?

The terms of the cashback offer will tell you when it is awarded. I guess if there is no limit to the cashback you could pay off the balance immediately and spend again.

If you are talking about the Aqua card, the max cashback is £100 per year but I suppose you could earn it all in several days if you needed to spend that much
