Amazon marketplace deteriorating

What's up with Amazon marketplace? I buy a lot of items but just recently the big sellers are cancelling my orders and refunding me, often 2-3 days after my purchase due to 'out of stock' items, or just a 'sorry currently unable to ship'.
The latest one today has been cancelled due to no stock, 2 days after I bought it, yet I can still go and buy the same item from the same seller at the same price with no mention of this being out of stock.

Quite possibly it's the stupid emails Amazon keep sending about keeping inventory in stock. Every time I'm low on an item they send the email informing me that items don't sell if they aren't in stock! I've been almost tempted to add items just to stop the emails, perhaps others have done so..0

It's driving me crackers , I am considering giving up trying to buy anything from a big seller any more.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I've been doing remarkably well on Amazon, for the first time I'll be putting some items just on there. If only they paid quicker and cost less, they make Ebay and Paypal look philanthropic.
I've never really had a problem with a seller. It's probably one of those things, I usually find I never get a single problem with a customer, there's always a couple more on top..0
