    I actually had a working mini hoover when I was around 4-5! Plugged in and it actually hoovered up (although not the stones out the back - bless me and my youthful ignorance). I also used to get taken to my mums workplace during school holidays (she was a seamstress at the time for a company who did the ladybird/mothercare clothes) and we (workers kids) sat putting the labels on the coathangers and got paid at the end of the day (was only a few £....maybe £5 at most and there was some squint labelling going on! lol)

    Wouldn't be allowed nowadays though! Shame.
