best courier for a chair

ive sold an expensive chair and im wondering if anyone can advise the best courier to get for transporting from durham to kent? parcel monkey want about £54 but i see some people are charging £20 courier but have no idea which company this will be with?
any advice would be appreciated

I would go for more expensive rather than the cheaper options, (regular ebay seller) I have learnt the hard way with having to give refunds because items have turned up broke, especially if you are selling something of high value. The other people selling items with cheap postage maybe taking some of the charge on themselves.saved £1500/£1500 by december 31st 20110

ive got the exact measurements but i dont have a clue with a chair. does anyone have any estimates for a standard chair, guess a bit heavier than a rocking chair but less than an armchair from a sofa set!Just about to give up!0

Here's an idea to weigh it, weigh yourself then weigh yourself holding the chair, and work out the difference.0

Have a look at silversprint - they do an economy service where the trucks do weekly circuits of the country, with booked-in pickups and dropoffs as required along the way. They will even wrap goods for transport at an extra fee. Handy for furniture from ebay0
