I never overided the system I added the item to my basket the option of collect plus came up and I selected this option and placed my order so I have done nothing wrong. Yeh as stated it was the track order facility on my very account which still states loaded onto van not Royal Mail.0

As long as you order before 9pm and ALL the items in your basket qualify for Collect+ (which means small parcels one delivery person can carry) and if you select Collect+ at checkout as your delivery option, then you'll get your delivery for free. Just pick up your parcel from your local shop, some of them are even open late at night, even handier! Find out more about FREE Delivery >
• Standard Next Day Delivery - £3.95
Place your order before 9pm Monday through to Friday or 4pm Sunday to get it the very next day. And yes, this means if you place an order on Friday (before 9pm of course!) we'll get it to you on Saturday!
I've also noticed that when I tried to buy an ipod it didnt' give me the collect plus option. As other people have said, did you by any chance add the address manually, as an account address? Or maybe there was some other type of glitch.0 -
Sorry ment the collect plus store it at the time I placed the order it defo came up and said eligible for click and collect If I had gone in and changed the address manually to the click and collect store I would have been charged delivery which I have not.0

I had a similar problem - lots of fuss (and will never shop there gain.)
I strongly recommend emailing your problem to Network@VeryHQ.co.uk who were much more helpful than the standard Very "computer says no" team that I was trying before.0 -
Hi Stepheng79,
We would be happy to look into this for you. You can email us directly at Network@VeryHQ.co.uk and we will be able to review the parcel tracking and investigate this delivery.
Many Thanks
Dave

The network team is a marketing team, not customer service.
It makes a big difference when you are an individual customer dealing with a customer service team, as opposed to a public forum like this, where thousand of people are likely to see a thread. But it worries me when the PR angle takes a higher priority than day-to-day customer service, it speaks volume...0
