Possible PPI claim

Hi,
I took out a loan in the 1990s, although I am unsure exactly when it was, for £5000. I was told at the time that I wouldn't be able to have the loan unless I had PPI on it. Unfortunately since I have moved a number of times over the years I have lost the paperwork on it. However the other day I found the business card of the chap that gave me the loan.
I was wondering if I would be able to do anything about it given the scant information I have?
Thanks

What are you proposing? Are you thinking of accusing this "chap" who gave you the loan 20 years ago of mis-selling it to you?

I think you're going to be fighting a very uphill battle.0
