  • Wow some lovely assumptions about us low-life supermarket workers again! Can't speak for them all but in my store the home shoppers are far from lazy. Would like to see some of the people who make these comments do one of their shifts and lug those trolleys round! They start at 5am and do not stop. Also, on the subject of slave labour, we have had 3 people who had to work 2 nightshifts a week or risk their JSA. All 3 have subsequently been employed on permanent 3/4 night contracts, earning almost £9 an hour, i think they are happy they did the "slave labour". I'm not a home shopper i just stack shelves and we all like a giggle but we work damn hard, come and see what we do before assuming we are lazy or can't be bothered. Sometimes stuff just genuinely doesn't come in!
