Flour for pasta?

So excited, as managed to get a Lakeland pasta maker from Ebay, and am just waiting for it to arrive!
I was checking out recipes online, and Jamie Oliver and others all say that it is best made with "00" flour. Can anyone tell me the best place to get this please? ( and also any other pasta making tips!)

you can get 00 flour from Waitrose for sure. When I make Lorraine Pascales, Black pepper pasta, I use strong flour. It works fantastic for me. Cheaper to buy and I've already got it in stock for when I attempt bread. Good luck with it. It's great fun.Opinion on everything, knowledge of nothing.0

The 00 rating is a fineness grading. Check that the flour is also a high-gluten flour if you're making pasta.
Once you get used to the machine, you'll probably be able to use all-purpose flour but start with the right stuff to make it easier at first.0 -
Most supermarkets seem to sell it, either as 00 or as pasta flour.
Start with a small batch to practise, it takes longer than you might think at first. If the dough is bunching up and tearing when rolling, add flour. The dough should be drier than a bread dough or pastry.Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0 -
I've not actually been able to find it at my local supermarkets but bread flour seems to work fine for me as a substitute.0

I've used ordinary plain flour and it works just fine. As has been said it needs to be quite dry.
