Morning folks. Looking for some assistance please. Myself and my partner are separating - we bought a house together 6 months ago - we have drawn up an agreement - he will stay in house cover the majority of mrtg and bills and that I will pay a small amount towards it. This agreement will run until 2 yr fixed rate finishes. It is fairly amicable at this time and we want something legal without having to pay a fortune in lawyers fees. is there such a thing. Live in Scotland - happy to pay small amount of money for agreement to be drafted. Thanks in advance for any sugestions. Clare

For both your sakes, see a solicitor to advise how you might seperate your funds from here on out! It will be worth the expense in the long run!0

Absolutely!!
What may seem straightforward to you just now will have to cover many different possibilities -such as, you not paying your share, him not paying the mortgage ( in which case the lender could go after you, regardless of your agreement), what happens if one of you dies, what happens if he wants to move someone else in....)0
