I dont think this topic has been covered before but forgive me if it has. A friend of mine has just bought a new LG tv plus intergrated freeview tuner and a LG dvd recorder plud hard drive. He tells me that he can only record the 5 terrestrial channels, he is not able to record the channels from Freeview. Is this correct or is there a way arround it? I would welcome any comments from you techies out there

i sthe scart on the TV outputting the freeview signals. You have to specify in the menus whether the TV should output the digital or the analogue signal0

I think the usual technical answer is "RTFM".
