Ok so I did have a problem with Barclays, I applied for an overdraft whilst I switched jobs, and got a letter saying I wasn't applicable as I was under 18 (I'm 22!) and should I need a student account in the future please do apply (I already have a degree!)
Anyway I went to Barclays and they apologised profusely. A week later I got a huge parcel, with a letter of apology, and two bottles of wine - one red, and one white - and it was very very nice wine, too!
Me and my boyfriend enjoyed the white, and gave the red to his mother (scoring a bonus point there!) and a week later, Barclays sent another letter, saying, hope you enjoyed the wine, sorry for the mistake, we now consider the matter dealt with. How cool is that!
So cheers, Barclays!
