I think I will book the Ramada Jarvis Parkway - it's £64 a room booked in advance and I'll be able to use quidco, it'll will have facilities that the kids can use on Saturday night - thank you for your advice, car is now 8 years old and I will feel happier being down near the airportTitch0

If you are going to be parking at the airport- I would recommend not actually parking at the airport itself but use the off site facilities at sentinel (about 2 mins away from the airport)

But I am an AA member so booked through their site to get a discount- am sure you could probably find some discount codes through this site or a quick google0 -
Dondo, thanks for that, booked Sentinel a while ago - it's only £16 with codes from here.
Jeppy - was going to book Ramada Jarvis, but they put their room prices up to £74 night, so rechecked Travelodge and they showed a room at £26 and a room for £39, so I booked them - now need reccommendations on places to eat pleaseTitch0 -

For restaurants- depends whether you want to venture into leeds city centre as I really know restaurants there0 -
If you like fish and chips, Murgatroyds has a nice restaurant opposite the Yeadon Stoops and is near the airport ,there is a good chinese restaurant opposite JCT garage at Rawdon, also at Rawdon is a restaurant at a residential hotel called Peasehill Housewhich is excellent, in Guiseley we have Cellar 1V which is a wine bar next to Morrisons supermarket,, opposite the leisure centre is a good restaurant called MO's, the Fox and Hounds at Menston has just been re-furbished, no need to go into Leeds, there are plenty of places in the area.

Looks like we'll have plenty of choice, don't know if we want to venture into Leeds City Centre on a Saturday night - if it's like Newcastle!Titch0

We were in Leeds for a party a couple of weeks ago, the centre did seem to be pretty noisy on saturday night, though, if you are used to Newcastle, then it will probably be ok.
Glad you got a hotel sorted, we stayed at Bewleys and it was fine.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0
