Hmm - interest - does it increase as time passes?

Another quick question I have just thought of ...
I calculated my interest up to the date I filed with MCOL, but is that now fixed?
Do I need to recalulate it for the date of the pre trial review, or is what I originally quoted now fixed?
Just a cheeky question really, as I'd like to bleed whatever I can out of the Woolwich!!!!
I'm just writing to their solicitor now to offer them one final chance to settle without the need for "wasting the court's time" (!), but I AM sticking to my original figure!

You are entitled to "interest at the same rate up to the date of judgment or earlier payment at a daily rate". The daily rate is your claim amount (excluding interest) times .00022. So, if it went to court, the judge could award you with interest up to that date. As banks usually settle before, the amount claimed through MCOL plus court costs is usually what gets paid, but I don't see why you can't try.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Now taking it to MCOL as they owe me £163. Im stuck though... ive looked through the threads but can't find the info im looking for.
