Getting a loan? Co director of own company

Credit record is excellent. So is income but its not traditional salary (its salary and dividends).

PAst experience has shown that some lenders just 'don't get it'. Dont want to waste loads of credit searches only to get turned down.

Anyone got any experience of companies that are better than others?

Dont they ask for income not salary? So cant you put the company as employer (which it is) and total income. You can find a calculator on contractors websites that tell you want at a dividend would be as salary.

I've found that not all are happy for you do to this unfortuantely.

First place to start, they may not really be too interested in the source of the income if it has been regular and you have been a long standing customer.
