Replacing optical drive on laptop

I want to upgrade the optical drive on my Lenovo G570 to a Blu Ray drive and was looking at this:

Are the sizes of laptop optical drives standard? In other words, is there any question as to whether this will fit my Lenovo?

The drive itself should be the same shape, though the drive's faceplate (bezel) may not be.

Presumably I could just take the faceplate off the current one & fit it to the new one though?

Correct. Be careful - they can be quite fragile.
