Has anyone tried this recently? I'm trying to download it on to my macbook and when I click 'install' it comes up with the box that says Adobe AIR will be also be installed but when I click 'yes' to continue, it constantly says 'error occurred, try again?' No matter how many times I click yes, it just does it again.
Been trying for several days now to no avail. When I tried it earlier it started downloading then when it had almost finished it came back with the error message.
Anyone know what to do? I'd try the message boards but they're a bit crap. You have to wait for your message to be checked by a moderator then wait for replies

I though the desktop version of iPlayer had been killed off now anyway?
You can always stream programs straight away on the iPlayer website (bbc.co.uk/iplayer) without having to install anything (except have Flash in your browser).0 -

All fine and well if you don't have a slow internet connection. You then have to put up with near constant buffering.
Anyhow, my normal internet browser is Chrome. So i tried installing it through Safari and didn't have a problem. Thing is, I also have to use Safari to download as it doesn't recognise I've installed it if i use Chrome. Bit of a pain in the bottom but it's installed.0
