When is Pension Paid?

I reach the grand old age of 65 in April, and I've just had the letter from the DWP about getting my Pension from my 65th Birthday.

The enclosed leaflet says the Pension is paid every four weeks in arrears, but friends have told me I can get it paid weekly if I want to. But I have been unable to find anything about this in the leaflet or online that is not out of date.

Can anyone tell me if the State pension can be paid weekly into my bank account, or do I have to accept the four weekly payment?
