You know what I am regretting the time I have wasted on this forum today. I'd love to see all of your lives, I bet they are so perfect...0

I'd be happy to loan the OP the amount that he needed if I had a consumer credit license (and indeed £15000 to loan) but on the information I have so far I wouldn't be able to offer 5.2%
It's a shame Amigo Loans don't do loans over £5,000. No need for a consumer credit licence, no need for you to have £15,000 cash laying around, you could have put [STRIKE]your money[/STRIKE] their money where your month is and made yourself new friend.
Oh well, maybe next time. :beer:0 -

I wouldn't look on it as time wasted. I'd look at it as a reality check, you already have quite a lot of debt, is it sensible to take on even more ?
I work for a bank and deal with loan requests like yours every day, i wouldn't offer you another loan. (Bonus's are not taken into account as they aren't guaranteed) It would be my decision, not a system generated decision. It's called responsible lending these days.0 -
The short answer is - no.

That's not the case at all. I asked whether I would be likely to be accepted for the loan in question and all I get is questioned why I would even want the loan.
I appreciate everyone's opinion on whether I will be accepted or not and to be honest they are probably right and I probably won't be accepted. Stangely enough, that is why I asked the question. You know what I am regretting the time I have wasted on this forum today. I'd love to see all of your lives, I bet they are so perfect...
Who mentioned lives being perfect ?
Looks like a raw nerve was touched, why you getting like that over replies on a forum.0 -
Well DCFC79 they do say the truth hurts don't they? He obviously probably knows he has debt problems but hasn't had his lbm so can't see that he is in trouble and needs to sort things out. Having someone pointing it out probably just reminds him and he just want's to stick his head in the ground again.0

It sounds to me as if that is exactly what you need. Advice on buying a car that you can actually afford.Bloody hell wish I hadn't have asked now. Thanks to those that actually answered my questions. Not quite so bothered about the life advice and definitely do not need advice on buying a car!I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -

Lmao - debt problems!?
In under no circumstance do I consider myself as having debt "problems". You lot really don't have a clue do you?
I apologise to everyone involved - I obviously registered on the wrong forum yesterday.0 -
You borrowed over 10k for a wedding ! You have nearly 15k worth of debt against a salary of 31k, you now want to borrow another 15k to buy a car........do you really think that 30k worth of debt against a 31k salary isn't a problem ?
You must live on a different planet to the rest of us, i think it's definately a problem, in your attitude to debt. Which will become an even bigger problem if either of you finds yourself out of work. Are you planning a family at all ?0
