If I had the money I would totally buy this for my boyfriend! £150 of chocolate would give him more joy than £150 spent on champagne/ fine dining/ clothes (he hates these things). I guess some people like chocolate lol :rotfl:

Surely as it's a money saving site, someone should take the time to drive to Huntingdon and visit the factory shop

    *googles Huntingdon*
    Oh bum. Bit too far.

They sell it reduced as it is quality chocolate with a certain sell by date. In their shops you will often see reduced boxes for that reason.

The store in Telford has a permanent sale/outlet section.

but I also think that it's ludicrous to spend £300 or even £150 on chocolate. :D .....and I am not being judgemental!
Then you don't understand what judgemental means.
You are making a judgment about what someone else does.

BTW - some of the chocolate may well last a year or more. I expect a lot of families do spend that when you add up birthdays, easter eggs, Xmas etc. over a period of say 12 months.

Well of course that depends on what it costs them to get to Huntingdon and also the costs of their time.
If they say earn £100K per hour, then it's probably not worth them taking the time off (extreme example but jsut making the point).

But in some cases, yes it may well be worth going to the shop. I rarely get chocolate delivered for this reason.
