Lloyds TSB Solicitor vs Me

A county court claim has been served on TSB and their solicitors have wrote to say 'my claim has not been properly pleaded and shows no legal basis for the claim and unless I produce one in 7 days the bank will make an application to strike out the claim' Do I have to issue a new claim and pay the costs which include a more detailed plea?
