I currently receive ctc for my son which is basic element and one child, i'm due another baby next month would my ctc go up or is it not worth applying for?

You don't need to apply as such, but you do need to inform them of changes in circumstances, including another child. Definitely inform them, after baby has arrived. They will adjust your payments accordingly.Bossymoo

Yes, it'll be a big rise as well, £2690 a year if all else stays equal. Tell them asap after baby born.0
