New Consumer Unit Cost

I would like a new consumer unit fitted in my 1930s property. It's a 5 bedroom detatched house in Surrey. My old board has 6 circuits.
Looking on various local electricians websites the prices quoted are around the £460+VAT mark to include fitting and testing, one local firm has told me they start at £500 but would need to check the electrics before they can give me a price to make sure there are no problems that need to be fixed first, but the £500 would include the testing.
Does this sound like a realistic price.

yes if you are in surrey. Make sure you get a cert but they sound reputable if they want to test first0
