Dropping out of course- what do I have to pay?

I am a adult learner currently doing a part time beauty course that started in September. It's a 2 year course, that I am paying for monthly.
I want to drop out of the course, but can anyone tell me where I stand with the course fees? Is there a cut off point you can drop out to enable you to get your money back?
I realise I won't get the money they have already taken off me, but will they just stop taking payments when I quit? Term doesn't start till next week.
Thanks in advance for any information.

Impossible to say without knowing the regulations for the provide and course. If they are available online then presumably you can look them up yourself, if they aren't then you'll need to ask the provider.0

Is the course at a local college or with a private provider?0

The college is local, part of the hull college group.
Like I say, term doesn't start till next week so can't contact anybody there until then and there is no information online hence why I am asking if anybody may have information on here.0 -
As others have said, you should definitely check with the institution you're studying with.
However, at my university they have a 13 week limit. If you change your mind within the first 13 weeks (ie semester 1) then you have to pay 60% of the original fee. Thereafter you will not receive a refund/discount if you drop out.
However, if you are dropping out due to exceptional circumstances then they may refund you or give you a bigger discount.
Find out from them direct, in any case.
You may also be able to negotiate if you are dropping out temporarily and maybe come back and finish it later?£2013 in 2013 / £353.22 /£2013 so far
