    Hi,

We had the same problem two years when we were stationed abroad at a BFPO address and wanted to fly to Florida then back to the UK as our final destination.

I searched and searched everywhere and ended up getting an annual travel policy from PAX for about £80. This covered us for all journeys and also includes cancellation of leave cover which is mega important given the forces lifestyle that doesnt let you pre-plan so easily!! I read through tons of information and called them in the end to check. I also managed to get it in writing from them that this was all covered (BFPO to uk, uk to florida then florida back to the UK) incase of any disputes as its not very clear.

Give them a call and see if this is still the same. We renewed again last year with them as the cancellation of leave cover was still the only one I could find and re-assures me I can book in confidence. Back in the UK now so originating country not so important but hubby is always getting sent somewhere unexpectedly (this time 14 days notice to go to the big sandy place for 6 months!) which meant cancelling Xmas plans!!

    Good luck x
