Windows ie 9, cut & paste????

I have windows IE 9 on my laptop. How do you cut & paste etc, please?

I have tried everything but nothing works for me.:o

Any helpful replies much appreciated.Thank you.

highlight selected text, right click, copy, paste.

Don't know what you are doing wrong but the keyboard shortcuts, right mouse menu options and the File Menu options haven't changed in a couple a of decades. If you've done C&P in all that time you will have used one of these methods. IE9 isn't any different
