Using Webcam to talk to Australia

Options
My elderly friend has just taken the leap and moved from dial-up to broadband (Tiscali) and has bought himself a webcam. His main reason was to talk to his son in Australia, who is also on Broadband and has a webcam.
What is the simplest way to use it i.e. ms messenger, yahoo messenger Skye etc? The less complicated the better.

I have always found Skpe quite good. It is (or was when I last used it) less cluttered and does not have as many options and adverts etc as the likes of MSN and Yahoo.

I use Yahoo to talk to and to see my son in Australia easy to set up and no problems.Best to try one and see how it goes. You can always get rid and try another programme.
