It's my resolution to meal plan this year and, as I'm off on holiday this week, there's no excuse!
Sunday (tonight) - beef stew with tatties, pear and blueberry crumble with pear and ginger cream
Monday - LO chorizo/bean chilli with rice and pittas / LO beef and barley stew
Tuesday - turkey (LOs from Xmas in the freezer) and pea risotto
Wednesday - Shepherds pie
Thursday - Chicken sweet and sour and noodles
Friday - toad in the hole and tatties
Saturday - Indian chicken curry (hubby and kids) / chickpea and spinach curry (for me), rice and naans
I won't need to buy anything extra to go with the above so this will help clear the freezer and cupboards.
Any suggestions on what I can do with the two massive turkey legs in the freezer?0 -
Need to watch the pennies so back to meal planning.
Sun roast chicken
Mon chicken and mushroom crepes
Tues tarragon chicken
Wed cheese, chicken, bacon and mushroom pasta bake
Thurs courgette pesto pasta
Fri bolognese from the freezer
Sat chili con Carne from Fri bolognese
A bit pasta heavy towards the end of the week. Lunches are cous cous with roasted veg and chicken, ham and cheese sandwiches and tuna pasta. Need to use up the Christmas cheese. Deserts will be fruit or cheese and biscuits.MFW 91 op 2014 £410/1000
