I am wondering how I can stop a lot of content which I am not interested but keeps filling my home page etc. A lot of this is not from friends but may be friends of friends as well a lot of likes this or that. I am finding games that people are playing and I am not interested in seeing. Other than delete some friends is there any other way I can filter it. I have looked at friends and privacy but the problem persists. ANY help would be appreciated. I am also getting a huge amount of spam in my AOL email accounts. Was told that the only way to stop this was to change my email address. Thanks

Hover cursor over top right hand corner of the offending posts, you should get the option to hide posts from that user or from the game.

Change it. Sounds like the spam pick up is pretty bad to begin with, and if spam bots have your address already, they wont ever stop.
Try gmail.com that seems to be a brill job on my spam, filtering it with a 99% rate in my experience.

I don't get a lot of spam email try an obscure account name it really help

Thanks again I am concerned that if I change my email address all my contacts will not be aware of this unless I notify them. Cn you suggest an easy way to do this. I see people send email to numerous people but I only seem to be able to send one copy to someone or forward it.
Not sure what using an obscure name is Do I need to do this on the current email or on the new email address. \
The email situation has become a real pain as there are numerous every day.
I tried to unscribe some but it tells me that this will take 48 hrs but they are still there. Stumped and I am a silver surfer

You won't ever be able to stop people sending you spam. Once they have your address it will just keep coming, the best you can do is have a good account that will filter it out. But if it is completely over the top this might not be possible.

You should be able to send emails to multiple people by entering the addresses into the address bar, separated by a semicolon (usually), or add the additional people into the cc box.
