There might be a better place for this thread but I thought I'd start here. My friend is looking for protective eye wear for her new class starting in a week. She needs laser goggles but can't find them for very cheap. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get these, even used would be ok with her. I told her I'd ask my money saving experts :Tso hopefully you guys have some good advice within the week.
She needs a pair like these ones:
Laservision style F22
Thanks in advance!

I couldn't get the link to work....
EDIT: I can now though !
I did a google search and apparently you can get laser safety glasses from amazon (yeah I know!) for £6 though how good they are is anyone's guess. tbh wouldn't it be an idea for her to speak to her tutor, who I guess will know where past students got their's from?
Sometimes its best not to cut corners ....and I have to say blindness is the one disability that frightens the **** out of me.2014 Target;

At DD's UNi glasses and lab coats can be hired from the UNi at very reasonable cost which means you get the best quality and standard. Deposit is refunded when they are returned at end of course. Lab coats are also properly washed for them on a regular basis.0

I agree, your eyes are not something you need to cut corners on. I found this great pair on amazon for my friend but they weren't brand new and the owner said they had a small scratch. I compared prices with the ones from Laser Vision and these ones aren't that much more expensive, and at least you know you are getting a brand new pair. My friend bought these online just in time for the class, and she loves them! Worth the price and perfect for the class.
