Hi,
I'm thinking of going to Belfast with OH and son. Of the 2 Premier Inn below which is more convenient to do sightseeing and travel to/from Belfast International airport (BFS) using public transport. Price wise, the 2 hotels are the same.
(a) Premier Inn Belfast City Cathedral Quarter
(b) Belfast CityCentre (Alfred Street)
Thanks.

The bus brings you into Great Victoria Street beside the Grand Opera house and the Europa hotel so Alfred street would be the nearest .The cathedral quarter gets better reviews on tripadvisor. Walking distance according to google maps ,Alfred street is 7 minutes ,cathedral is 14 minutes .
for security reasons the bus stations and train stations do NOT have left luggage facility ."Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0 -
Hi,
We can use Flybe to get to Belfast city airport. However, it will cost us £85 more than to use Easyjet. Besides, there is no weight limit for hand baggage with Easyjet. That's the reason for choosing to fly to Belfast International airport.
The airport bus will cost us £30 from Belfast International airport vs £9.90 from Belfast city airport for a return trip for 3 of us.
Q. Given the above info, in your opinion, is it still better to pay the extra money and use Flybe and avoid traffic jams?
Thanks.0 -
no advice on where to fly from /to . I just wanted to make sure you knew it was 40 minutes on a bus to Belfast.
If you are happy with that then go with it.As for traffic jams ,I would think translink have factored this into the 40 minute journey.
If you do stay in Alfred street ,pop into this church across the road .
Prince Charles has been to see it ."Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0
