Can son/daughter earn money whilst family claim Tax Credits?

Hello,

My daughter has turned 16 as is looking for part time work while she is still at school. I am still receiving tax and child credits but I am worried that when she starts working it will affect our benefits.

I've tried having a look around for information on the net relating to this situation but haven't been able to find an answer.

If anyone can help it will be very helpful, thanks.

A child working part time whilst in full time education will have no affect on your benefits at all.
