Signing out of email Nexus 7

I have just got a Nexus 7. I have set up my gmail account and also downloaded Yahoo to access my Yahoo mail. How do I sign out of my email on the Nexus 7? Is there any general advice about closing other apps running in the background - ie Kindle.

  • Go into settings, then apps and you can close them from there. You can also set it up so that it only runs when youre connected to wifi should you so wish.
