Anyone else got a ban from liking Facebook pages

Hmm quite embarrassing but..

Ive got a 30 day ban from liking pages! I use an account (all verified) purely for comping and all I have done is like and share appropriate posts and entered comps.. I don't understand why I have had a ban because 1) I have no friends on there to Spam and 2) the content I was sharing was not malicious etc

Quite possibly because you have no friends. Although Facebook is doing the rounds of giving out bans at the moment to serial likers and sharers.

I have been banned last Oct for 30 days

Then had it back for 5 days

Then banned start of Nov for 30 days

Given back for two weeks I suspect this is because of the Christmas holidays

Today been banned again for 30 days.

I have no friends & have not asked here for people to join my face book page because I am on facebook using my real name, & I don't want everyone on the comping section to know my real name for security reasons

If anyone has a way around this I would appreciate it loads

It defo sounds for both of you that it's more to do with having no friends.
I use my real fb profile for comping and haven't had a problem so far.

I just wouldn't want to spam everyone, I enter ALOT of comps. Will calm down after my ban.. feel such a rebel! xxx

Yes delete all facebook accounts and delete facebook from social media scene if enough do it.

Bet they will soon stop banning people when income falls.

Is there anyway you can stop the company's that I have entered a competition with from repeatedly posting on your wall/page?

I am now going through them all hitting the report story or spam button, not sure what this does though to be honest?

It's not really spam though, you gave them permission to post on your wall when you accessed their apps or competitions. Also if you report them or unlike them you are probably disqualifying yourself from any current comps you may have entered so I would be cautious which ones you are removing etc.

There is a thread on here somewhere that you can add other comping Facebook people to that don't mind you flooding their wall.

I have been banned for 30 days since the 23rd December I have 251 friends I had to do security checks for 2 days on the trot then the 3rd came the 30 day ban i can't like any new pages or comment on anything. My hubby got the same and he does not do competitions plus my sister got the same ban and she was only visiting us for xmas and she does not comp either so god knows why them 2 got the ban aswel, i can understand mine with all the sharing I do but not them 2.
Ive looked into it and there's nothing you can do at all they won't lift any ban for any reason at all.
Ive heard of quiet a few people on fb that have got the same 30 day ban before me and just after me so think it's the time of year they seem to do it every december.

You can set your FB security settings do that nobody can post on your wall except you.
