No Spain in Morethan policy

Why would Spain be excluded from their European travel insurance.
MORE TH>N TRAVEL INSURANCE

Annual Travel
Customers who choose MORE TH>N Travel can enjoy several trips from as little as £24.99 . Price based on a healthy individual aged over 18 & under 40 years of age taking out an Annual Economy Policy, travelling in Europe (excluding Spain, Cyprus, Malta & Turkey), excluding baggage.

I can understand Mediterranean islance may not strictly be Europe but Spain certainly is. Any ideas?

Thanks for the response, but why is Spain not automatically included. A pal of mine had an annual insurance with Morethan and travelled to Majorca twice last year without realising that he wasn't covered.
He only realised yesterday when his renewal came through the post and it was more visible on the letter that he wouldn't be covered.
I'm not suggesting that he shouldn't have read the policy last year, but how many people that take out insurance for travel to Europe would not think that Spain was automatically included?

    They price it differently.

Same thing happens with worldwide. Take care if you want USA - although it is of course in the world, many (most maybe) insurers will have a price for worldwide excluding USA and worldwide including USA.
