  • anyone predict when it might go live today? do you think more tea time onwards or do you think it could be this afternoon?

i do hope they dont spoil it with the barcode off the paper?

If its not this round of holidays maybe they are testing the system for doing this :(

such a shame! if they do we might have to look to buying a tourer to afford holidays in school times

If they want the actual barcode number from the newpaper, it's normally the same every week. (from what I remember when I worked in retail 8 years ago) Has anyone got a copy of last week's Sunday Sun and can have a look? Unless they print another code on it as well? <sets alarm to 6am>

there must have been an error with the site even opening last night, it didnt when i tried on several occassions, i have never used a barcode and i do this every year, also it does not read anywhere on my form that you need one, lets hope it stays that way lol .... I guess one day they will suss us out but until then lets enjoy the glory of booking sooner :)
What is the earliest time you can buy a Sunday Sun as it seems sure we will need the barcode number to be posted on here to enable booking.

Why would they do a barcode though ? What is it for ? Is it for a smart phone app. Or that you have to post it, because you can book online so doesn't make sense ? Oh and how do you guess the code word, where can I get a copy of the spreadsheet so I can help you all ?

Can somebody plz post a link for the online booking page for when it does open..... I cant find it. Also has anyone been to searles park (29) before and if so was it any good?

not been there but its on my list for this holiday, looks ok, trip advisor was pretty much a mux on it so guess you have to take a gamble
  • Could just be this is a load of old tripe....why not just do what you were all doing before doubts set in and keep refreshing the booking page? I know I am :p

Well all the rest of them have been four letter words. So just think of something you would associate with the Sun and Sun holidays........SH**:silenced:

    YOU guessed RIGHT..........SHOW:rotfl:

Just dug it out the bin and entered it with my details and it says

    ERROR

    Select prepare failed:

SQL: -206: The specified table (hols_sprtopdata) is not in the database. ISAM: -111: ISAM error: no record found.

Which to me would suggest that the holiday database isnt yet live. Does anyone know if the barcodes are the same for all papers that day or does every paper have a different one. They sell them in Leicester Square the night before. I live in Yorkshire I wont get my hands on one til tomorrow morning. Not very fair if they do insist on the bar code.

Maybe someone out in London tonight could post it on here?
