cheers Ann,im booking for a mate,so id hate to say its this price and then she has a further bill of £100 plus!! if i booked the standard/no upgrades,just wondering what they charge after that,and if she could possibly add food on at a later date

butlines ervice charges (taken from skegness so might not be the same for all)

per £9.50 break - service charge 9.45per unit per night, entertainment passes are 9.50 per person per break

£15 break - service charge 9.45per unit per night, entertainment passes are 12.50 per person per break

some dates half price etc

half board is £15.50 per adult and 7.75 per child per day x

you will struggle to add on food later as its different accomodation. its a room if you are half board and an apartment (chalet) with a kitchen if self catering - we tried before esp difficult in holidays as they get full x

thanks again for your help,its still showing that its a caravan - strange?? so she could go up to half board and still have a kitchen lol

I've been trying for hours all combinations of parks and dates to get something in May half-term but nothing at all. I get the feeling that The Sun has held back lots of dates until official opening tomorrow. Anyone else experienced this?

I stayed at Haven Weymouth Bay last October and I was quite impressed with it. It's about a 20 minute walk to the sea and the park itself is really quite nice.

The only downside was that our caravan was very close to a church and the church bells rang on the hour, every hour! Took some getting used to but we're going back at Easter so it can't have been that bad.

no. no kitchen if half board just a kettle. kitchen if self catering. x

Also would not suggest cancelling and you may well like it. We have been on 2-3 Sun Hols each of last 10 years all around the country. When reviewing and booking we had our worries with some, but apart from the odd minor issue all have turned out good for us, some much better than excpected. Once you get the booking confirmation post from Pontins you could phone them and see if they will switch to another of their parks (eg. Southport or Brean) - if you want try that.
We have once got a full refund from the Sun - but this was when I complained that the park we booked had a swimming pool but we got a letter beforehand from the site saying pool was closed during our stay. In effect it was a breach of sale of goods/services/supply or distance selling type laws.

i couldnt get may either but alot of people have, im desperately trying to get a code for my sister now. been sat here all night lol x
