What a mess

I'm on IS and have 2 kids so get CTC aswell, a week tomorrow I wont have a house for a few reasons my ex who has his own house and a lodger has offered to put us up till I get somewhere. Also a member of my family have offered-they have a 2bed with 3ppl already living there. How will these effect my money ?

I don't want to worry you unnecessarlily but you need to be careful about moving in with your ex. The DWP can look at possible cohabitation.
On a more practical side you need to urgently present yourself as homeless to the LA. Go into the local housing office and insist on a homeless interview -and don't let them fob you off with a simple application for housing. They are under a duty to formally interview you and give you a written decision. If it is an adverse decision you then have a right to appeal. It's not just street homeless the LA have to consider. Shelter have been mentioned on this site numerous times and they will guide you on this one.I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!0
