How do I report a friend's Facebook hacked?

In the last couple of days I've noticed some very offensive posts on my friend's facebook. They have gone from being mildly anti-gay to getting more and more nasty and last night I noticed posts containing death threats towards my friend and his family.
I have no way of contacting my friend other than facebook and I'm not even sure he's aware of the hacking as he isn't a frequent user.
I can't find any way of reporting this, can someone please point me in the right direction?

There is a possibility that it is your friend who is actually posting.0

I'm not sure I can do it, I just get this message -
I think my friend’s account was hacked and taken over by someone else.

I've just tried it too and it takes you back where you started. I guess your friend has to be the one to report it so you'll need to contact him somehow.

He lives abroad unfortunately and I don't have any other contact details for him. I'll just have to hope that someone else who has his phone number/email address gets hold of him soon.0

You could always report the profile as someone pretending to be your friend.0

If he doesn't use Facebook very much, just send him a message now for when he does log on. If he's not seeing the posts, it won't be worrying him will it ? Once he does log on, he can report it then.
How come you can't contact him by some other method ?0 -
are you his only fb friend? Surely he must have other friends/family there who could contact him. If you think about it- the threats are against his family. If they are not aware of them they wont be bothered. If they are aware, then they will contact him themselves.weight loss target 23lbs/49lb0

Do you have any mutual contacts who you could send a message to (either FB or another method)?0
