If our team had a snowballs chance of getting to a cup final (and we might be a couple of leagues above you, but we won't be getting there for a while!) we would go to Wemberley. Some things are one-offs.

I'm bad and will slink off again now :D

You'll be telling me to go and buy Uggs next! :-0

    HAHAHA!

If I ever tell you to buy those overpriced hairyfeet you'll know my computer has been hacked :P
  • Grocery/Petrol Fund: Was £500 – is £170.83

DH put £20 in the tank. Not sure if this'll last him until pay-day though. I also need petrol too but thanks to the snow I haven't set foot in my car since Friday.

    Cash-in-hand situation:
    Money in purse £1.00
    'money put aside' account £186.46
Money in change box (A) £5.88
    Money in bank: £63.01
    Grand total: £256.35
    Days left til payday: 9

    Reduction since yesterday £6.99

    £0.99 - Kindle book
£6.00 - PAD. No athletics for the kids, it is £2 each, and there's an adult training session at the same time so DH was planning on going but it's called off.

Ridiculously excited as it's the big game tonight and we're going into it with a 2-goal lead. Surely even WE can't mess that up? Roll on 7.45pm! Fairy Child number 1 is safely ensconsed on the coach having gone to watch it and I wish I could have gone too.

In exciting money saving news the loan paperwork has arrived but it does say "agreed in principle". I'll get DH to stick his moniker on it when he comes in from work and I can get it posted tomorrow.

I know, it's completely true. I always tend to err on the hysterical side though, think things are worse than they actually are, and then when I have calmed down and realised things aren't that bad, I can get on with fixing things
