Hello
First time poster
I have a tribunal for a dla claim (not sure of the date yet). I suffer from chronic deprerssion which gives me sever anxiety. I have been under medication for over 5 years and have had failed suicide attempts. I am currently studying at Uni and started in sept 2012 and applied for DSA to which i was accepted and recieve additional help. I am under the mental health nurse at the moment and have previously seen a private CBT and also had a one of diagnosis consultation with a private CBT to which i was given a report of my mental health needs... (hope this gives a little background)
My questions
If i have been accepted for DSA would that not mean i should be entitled to DLA?
What evidence do i bring when i go to the tribunal?
Can i record the tribunal on my dictaphone?
Thanks in advanced
Phil

DSA is nothing to do with dla - people are often eligible for one and not another. In fact the criteria is very low, I know people receiving DSA for very minor issues.
Dla looks at current needs not 5 years ago and you are a lot better if you are now at uni. Any needs should be current.0
